"Hiring Department: Commercial Position: Office Manager (Asia Pacific) Report to: VP of APMEA Location: Singapore Main responsibilities: 1. Set up the brand new Asia Pacific headquarter office; 2. To manage the day-to-day office management of Singapore including office administration and supervision of office administrator/receptionist. 3. Provide assistance on regional matters including recruitment and relocation, working closely with internal & external departments for all staff, in term of resolving local legal, finance, admin issues, etc. Enter finance transaction information into group systems; 4. Handle all compliance matters relating and regular reporting to head office; 5. Attend relevant conferences and exhibitions, collect and analyze key info and provide some instructional proposals; 6. Manage and assist HR related issues in terms of staffing, employment relations, training, etc.; 7. Assist expatriates and secondees with relocation and apply for relevant employment permits; Site contact for HR administration (maintain files, prepare reports, etc.); 8. Monitor and manage office operating costs including office rental, travel and all support services including cleaning, IT, pantry, etc.; 9. Purchasing office supplies and handling facilities management; 10. Basic accounts payables and receivables of local expenses and to keep accurate accounting information for monthly reporting; 11. Provide hands on backup to roles as required. Requirements: 1. B.A. from a well-respected, global institutions; 2. More than 3 years of direct experience within a global company; 3. Excellent communication skills; pro-active, dynamic and resourceful; open-minded & a “problem solving” person. Self-starter; flexible and able to multi task. Strong negotiating skills. Ability to work in a highly international and multicultural environment. 4. Research, financial modelling and good communication skills; 5. Quick-thinker, proactive, passionate, detailed-oriented. 6. Language: English, Mandarin. Multi-lingual is preferred."
