"Responsibilities: Design and development of high performance Core IP offerings (Network Offload Engines) in Verilog • Development of test benches for a variety of purposes including IP testing and customer projects • Exploration of hardware architecture and design alternatives Qualifications: • BSEE degree • MSEE/Ph.D. preferred Experience: • 5 to 10 years of ASIC and/or FPGA design experience (fresh Ph.D candidates would be considered) • Experience designing hardware using synthesizable Verilog • Strong experience in designing and developing 802.3, 10GE, TCP/IP, MACsec, IPsec, SSL and other Data Networking protocols • Strong experience in designing and developing SoCs, Ethernet bridges, and IP routers • Experience writing complex test benches using System Verilog or SystemC • Experience using hardware simulators, such as, ModelSim • C or C++ system/embedded software development experience • Strong familiarity with Unix/Linux-based development environments. • Strong familiarity with data communication and storage networks desired • Ability to explore and communicate architecture and design alternatives to meet demanding timing requirements. • A spirit of innovation, risk-taking and continued learning.
