"Job purpose (state the main purpose of the position in one or two sentences) The Site Acquisition Expert is responsible for negotiating different projects with existing and potential new llandlords of GSM base stations to assure the successful deployment, transformation and retention of our mobile access network. Duties and responsibilities (based on the key accountabilities, state the major duties as detailed as possible, with examples if necessary) 1. NETWORK DEPLOYMENT  Seek potential new locations for GSM Base Stations.  Work closely with other departments and actively participate in the preparation of technical files for these new GSM Base Stations.  Contact, inform and negotiate agreements with landlords for new GSM Base Stations.  Assure timely and accurate administrative follow-up and reporting of these projects. 2. NETWORK TRANSFORMATION  Work closely with other departments and actively participate in the preparation of technical files for transformation/enlargement projects of our existing GSM Base Stations.  Contact/visit landlords of our existing GSM Base Stations to negotiate landlord approval for these transformation/enlargement projects.  Actively participate in the preparation of technical files of other licensed operators who wish to use/share our existing structures.  Contact/visit landlords of our existing GSM Base Stations to negotiate landlord approval for these projects of other licensed operators.  Assure timely and accurate administrative follow-up and reporting of these projects. 3. NETWORK RETENTION  Contact/visit landlords of existing GSM Base Stations who have indicated administrative, financial, technical or other problems, solve these problems and maintain/regain good working with relationship with such landlords.  Contact/visit landlords of existing GSM Base Stations where our lease is ending and negotiate prolongation of the lease.  Assure timely and accurate administrative follow-up and reporting of these projects. Principal challenges What makes the job difficult to perform? Very good organisation is required to assure the timely follow-up of the big amount of projects. Very good negotiation skills are required with some landlords. What makes the job attractive? Autonomous work, diversity of the projects to follow, various commercial and financial contacts with landlords in your own area whilst assuring cost/quality balance. Quantitative data (explain the position in terms of financial or quantitative dimensions or budget responsibilities) N/A PROFILE Knowledge and skills required (state the specific education, skills/ expertise and necessary experience) Essential qualifications (without it’s impossible to do the job) 1. Education  Real Estate, Bachelor/Master Law, Marketing, Communication… or equivalent by experience. 2. Experience (indicate number of years)  At least one year of experience in the field of site acquisition negotiating within Mobile Telecom is required. 3. Skills/expertise (f. ex. languages, commercial, project mgt. , strategic, analytical, people mgt.……)  Commercial/negotiation skills are principal.  Some basic legal/contract/rental law knowledge is required.  In possession of a valid driver’s license and own car.  Physical ability to visit customer’s network infrastructure, including roof mounted installations.  Basic Microsoft Office skills.  Languages: Good knowledge (spoken/written) of English. And, depending on your area, good knowledge (spoken/written) of: French for Wallonie, Dutch for Vlaanderen, French+ Dutch for Brussels.  Good communication skills (verbal and written).  Good organization skills 4.
