Job Description: Job Title: Oracle R12 Functional Finance with R11 to R12 upgrade experienceState: WisconsinCity: ThiensvilleJob Duration: 9 MonthsJob Type: ContractVisa Requirements: OpenNo. of Openings: 1Interview Type: Phone HirePrimary/Key Skills: Oracle R12 Functional Finance, R11 to R12 upgrades experienceJob Description: R11.5.10 to R12.13 upgrade on a large global single instance. This is a deemed a technical upgrade (ie. no new process, like for like) and as such its largely testing the existing processes in the new R12 instance. With Finance, there are significant changes in R12 (like sub ledger accounting) so its important this resource be expert in R12 and its options in Finance setup/configs, have at least 1 upgrade experience to know where the pitfalls are and be able to provide solutions to various customizations as they crop up. Knowledge of Costing and/or Inventory would be a nice plus. Experience in a manufacturing environment (with finance of course) would be a plus. CPA or other such finance credentials would be a plus. Ability to map data (no hands on technical skills required), draft AIM Docs, provided one on one end user training and guidance is a must. This is largely a hands on functional role with a lot of end user and mgmt contact. Willingness and ability to travel to Mexico for training end users, etc on 2-4 day stints maybe once every 2-3 months would be a plus (but is not a deal breaker if they will not). Qualifications: R11.5.X and R12.1X Finance modules experience - expert level R12 upgrade experience ideally for a mfg client Ability to provide Finance options and solutions in R12Ability to lead JADS, train end users in Finance modules Data map and document data mapping between R11 and R12 as well as possible 3rd party bolt on systems and customizations."
