Angelo Chirulli posted a job: Business Intelligence Analyst - Gibraltar "One of the leading names in online gaming is looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst to join their company in the Mediterranean setting of Gibraltar. The company are one of the most recognisable names in online gaming with a reputation for innovation and development. A business user champion role responsible for capturing and analysing BI user requirements across all of the product streams, producing clearly defined and documented requirements and high level logical solution designs to feed to the BI technical team as well as performing a first point of Quality Assurance for BI deliverable to the business. Responsibilities: Ensure that Business Intelligence Solutions are aligned to business goals; Work with business users to understand business information objectives and requirements and ensure that these requirements are clearly and unambiguously defined in non technical business terms; Translate business requirements into high level design specifications; Lead data analysis to identify and understand source data to satisfy the business requirements; Work with the BI development team to deliver technical solutions; Work with the BI development team to standardise requirements capture, high level design and the communication of BI business requirements; Promote the importance of planning to the Product teams with particular emphasis on product launches; Understand changing priorities and requirements of the business and ensure that the implications are clearly communicated with the Project Management and BI delivery team so that plans may be adapted; Be a business user champion during project delivery to ensure solutions match requirements; Develop test plans as a first line QA and validate on behalf of the Product teams; Analyse source data and specify the business rules to transform and integrate raw data into fact and dimension data structures; Assist the development team with development tasks where necessary to deliver projects and ensure that the team remains multi disciplinary; Promote an AGILE style approach to BI development where appropriate. Requirements: On-line gaming experience; 5+ Years in BI delivery; Excellent communication skills verbal and written; Structured Systems Analysis experience or ability to demonstrate a structured and analytical approach; Strong SQL skills and experience of one or more of the following relational databases; preferably Oracle, SQL Server or Teradata.
