Be a part of the Mobile Engineering team to create shared services that maximize productivity for company developers to develop, launch and manage mobile offerings. The key focus of the team includes: Provide reference architecture and reusable components for the "critical few" mobile device platforms targets for company Recommend and supports the mobile platform development tools Recommend development best practices for mobile application development (native and hybrid); Stay ahead of the curve on mobile technology and device platform trends In this role, your responsibilities will include the following: Capture requirements and use cases Deliver technical design and implement highly available, scalable, and secure web services with excellent quality in a fast paced Agile environment Apply your experience and innovation to generate creative ideas for emerging business needs Partner with other groups both inside and outside of organization for solution integration and onboarding of mobile offerings Passionate for continuous learning, experimenting and applying cutting edge technology and software paradigms. Drive issues to resolution. Actively stay abreast of mobile trends and standards, recommend best practices and share learning Your Talents: BS / MS in Computer Science or related area. 5+ years of development experience in Java and J2EE 2+ years experience in iOS and Android Mobile Client development Experience with object oriented design and development a must Experience and understanding of service-oriented architectures (SOA). Experience developing robust and highly scalable web services Experience with XML, REST, SOAP, JSON, and WS-* standards required Experience with JBoss, Apache and Maven Experience with MySQL and ActiveMQ a plus Skilled in software development lifecycle processes.
