Premier technology firm is seeking developers to play an integral role in building next generation proprietary software utilizing C++/Unix and SQL. Your work will be highly visible within the organization as the applications will be deployed on a firm-wide scale. There are multiple openings (both full time and consulting) in New York. Required: • C/C++, UNIX, T-SQL, Shell scripting, Data Structures, Algorithms and Optimizations, Object-Oriented design, JavaScript, Web services and SOAP, XML • C# experience a strong plus • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills • Desire and ability to share ideas, create amazing software • 5+ years of experience developing stored procedures, performing optimization and query tuning, and designing databases • 5+ years of software engineering experience with Object Oriented Languages • UI Design experience is a plus • Bachelor of Science/MS/PhD Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance or Related Field (or equivalent expertise)"
