Email resumes to sferrari@sisinc.com "Now Hiring: Data Analyst in San Francisco, CA Our client’s team is looking for a highly-motivated, self-driven individual who is well-versed in report development, data and business analysis for a 9 month contract in San Francisco. In this role, you will be primarily responsible for the decision support needs of a specific business area. You will work directly with business partners to define requirements, then design and implement appropriate solutions. Solutions will range from data support for analytical exercises to data-centric reports and applications using Teradata, Business Objects, and other tools as appropriate. Responsibilities: Working side by side with internal client groups to understand their business reporting and decision support needs. Gathering and documenting business requirements, negotiating timelines/priorities with internal business partners, development, and delivery of solutions. Design and construction of new reports as well as simplification and enhancement of existing reporting and reporting processes. Collaborate with colleagues as well as other technical groups across the Firm in the design and implementation of solutions to meet project goals. Requirements: Minimum 8 years of data analysis, business analysis, and decision support reporting. Solid understanding of relational database concepts, with advanced SQL skills on Teradata platform. Experience with Business Objects WebI report building Experience designing and building Business Objects Universes Strong problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication. Able to communicate effectively in business terms with business partners up to the VP level. Effective project management skills, in particular the ability to multitask and prioritize. Comfortable with delivering complex solutions with a high level of accuracy in tight timeframes. Demonstrated successes as a team lead and managing small-to-medium sized projects.
