The position’s purpose includes, but is not limited to: Learn the packages and provide enhancements for new and existing products where applicable to Dodd Frank initiatives, specifically around reporting for either: FX, Interim vendor solutions around SDR reporting as well as Push Out OR Market Risk for LOPT, futures, CDS and derivative products Analyze, design and develop local functionality connected with the new systems/technology when required Know and understand the businesses and, with training, maintain and improve upon that knowledge Coordinate and liaise with the business groups using the systems Knowledge of Investment banking business a plus, specifically within Fixed Income, Derivatives and FX The role will support the management of the team by functioning as an IT Lead on projects and may be required to project manage small projects as necessary. Are you a fit for this job? Do you have: 7 or more years’ experience in application design and development, strong in development using VB.NET, C#.NET 4.0, SQL Server and related technologies. Web Services MQ Pluses are TIDAL Scheduler, SSIS, SSRS Strong interpersonal skills, Ability to communicate effectively with both technical staff and business lines Fluent in the use of software development tools and utilities Banking business knowledge. University degree, or equivalent At least 5 years financial industry experience, working with front, middle or back office. In addition, having relevant skills along with technical certificates.
