Provide day to day LAN activities including installing, configuring, monitoring, and maintaining network infrastructure. Also responsible for administering Network Operating Systems, and maintaining documentation. 2. Must have or attain a good understanding of the organization’s business processes and information systems. 3. Provide day to day global operational activities for Storage and Backup/Recovery teams including administering storage array architecture, SAN infrastructure, Network Attached Storage (NAS), Enterprise Backup/Restore, Avamar, Hierarchical Storage Management (HSM) and Archival and Retrieval. Certification 1. CCSE (Checkpoint) , CCNA, CISSP , ITIL (Foundation) ,CISA , GSNA Skills: Experience with installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting LAN networks. Knowledge of Cisco router and switch configurations. Experience with Routing protocols (EIGRP, OSPF). Strong understanding of basic networking concepts such as STP, VLANS, VTP, IP subnetting, IP routing, DHCP, DNS and NIS. Advanced TCP/IP addressing/subnetting knowledge. Experience with Layer 1 technologies - copper and fiber interfaces. Working knowledge of Enterprise-class Storage Hardware from NETAPP, EMC Symmetrix / Clarion, VNX Series storage subsystems, Sun Storage. Working knowledge of Enterprise-class Fiber Switch/Director Hardware from Cisco, Brocade, or McData required. Strong Storage concepts on LUN mapping/creation, F/C Switch Configs. IP Network, WAN and LAN free (SAN) based data backup design and configuration (familiarity). Data protection and backup recovery solutions familiarity such as using virtual tape, disk to disk to tape, data replication. UNIX and/or Windows systems administration experience. High-level of Trouble-shooting and Problem Solving Skills. Strong project management skills. Strong verbal and written communications skills.. Strong documentation skills.
