Infrastructure Engineer in Washington, DC Tasks Provide hands-on technical support for the Configuration and Build of Test and Production environments. Perform analysis of the design and requirement and develop Infrastructure/environment specifications Perform full system life-cycle activities in support of the project and backfill for the Environment Management engineers to work on other initiatives. These activities will be assigned by the Environment management team need. Conduct hands-on troubleshooting, problem analysis and resolution. Coordinate tasks across multi-platforms and cross functional teams. Manage and conduct Environment Synch activities. Analyze and recommend improvements to support Environment Management initiatives. Provide a timely Production Environment and Infrastructure support. Support FTE SMEs in maintaining current (Test/Production) environments and infrastructure. Create all necessary documents and communicate to Stakeholders. Provide pre and post implementation support for Test and Production environments. Conduct training and knowledge transfer with FTEs on the Environmental Management team. Skills   1.     Infrastructure Engineer with a minimum of 7 plus years Hands-on experience. 1.     Building robust Middleware environments 2.     Scripting and process Automation experience 3.     Extensive knowledge of Java/J2EE methodology and frameworks 4.     Extensive UNIX AIX and Scripting experience 5.     Extensive knowledge of WebSphere MQ 6.     Extensive knowledge of  MQ Series 7.     Extensive SDLC experience with some development or Production Support experience 8.     Ability to analyze and trouble-shoot Mid-tier/infrastructure issues. 9.     DB2 UDB 10.   Mainframe Zos 11.   Datapower ESB 12.   AIX 13.   LDAP 14.   Pega or Rules Engine 15.   Very strong verbal and written communication skills (Critical) 16.   Ability to facilitate technical requirements gathering and design sessions 17.   Collaborate and interpret business and technical needs 18.   Excellent attention to detail and quality work products (Critical) 19.   Strong customer service skills with internal and external customers (Critical) 20.   Must be able to perform assigned tasks with minimum supervision (Critical) 21.   Strong analytical and documentation skills 22 .  Excellent time management ability.
