"Swasti is a health resource centre that seeks to enhance health and well-being through innovation, particularly for the marginalized. Swasti aims to advance health by mobilizing communities to better address healthcare priorities, and by improving the efficiencies and effectiveness of organizations in the health sector. We combine sectoral knowledge with gender and equity perspectives and management skills. Swasti is a registered not-for-profit society that is a part of the Catalyst Group of institutions that have been working in the development sector for over a decade. In addition to Swasti, the group comprises of Catalyst Management Services, a consultancy, research and training organization; and Vrutti, a livelihoods resource centre. We work with a range of organizations from grassroots community based organizations to NGOs, bi-lateral and multi-lateral donors, government departments and academic and corporate bodies. Job Location : Bangalore Job Description: The Technical Editor will support the Director, Partners For Results in producing high quality technical reports. The role of the Technical editor would be to: 1. Develop and write reports, coordinating and gathering information in writing proposals and presentation templates. 2. Validate, normalize data and report content in research reports. 3. Work in conjunction with the assignment team and devise frameworks analyse and outlines of the report 4. Support in Business Development and writing of proposals 5. Language edits and formatting 6. Ensure top quality reporting. 7. Participate in research design and analysis as and when required 8. Any other “writing related” work. Type of contract: Full time position Qualification:Master Degree/Post Graduate Diploma in Public health , Master Degree/Post Graduate Diploma in Communication and related fields preferably working in the health/development sector. Experience: Minimum five years' experience in research, documentation and publication. Skills and aptitude: Excellent written and verbal communication. Good editorial skills. Ability to work independently.
