It is a Long Term Contract.Role : Software EngineerLocation : Atlanta, GADuration : Long Term Contract.Description: SUMMARY OF POSITION: The candidate will be responsible for development and maintenance of a customer-facing portal application. Job duties include developing PHP applications, integrating with proprietary vendor APIs, working with a team of skilled PHP and J2EE developers, implementing and enforcing coding guidelines and general coordination of development with other development teams. RESPONSIBILITIES: Work with Manager and development team to design, implement, test and package a new portal web site in PHPDevelop web applications utilizing PHP frameworks (e.g. Lithium, Zend), CSS, Javascript/JQuery, responsive designCreate installation and deployment documentationAssist in testing and packaging of regular releases. Availability for production supportOccasional weekend work may be required QUALIFICATIONS: Five or more years work experience. Three or more years PHP experienceExperience with Lithium or Zend, and JQuery frameworksStrong knowledge of web-based UI developmentExperience with CSS-based responsive designExperience with consuming SOAP WebServicesFamiliarity with working in Unix/Linux environmentsMust be able to demonstrate knowledge of common design patterns and security best practicesMust have experience supporting production code.
