Application Security Engineer in Columbus, OH We are currently accepting resumes for an Application Security Engineer in Columbus, OH.   The selected candidate will perform the following duties: - Be part of Client’s Cyber Security Engineering team - Apply security engineering and problem solving skills to develop solutions to complex problems - Promote, design, and evaluate security in all phases of the development life cycle with a specific focus on providing defensible coding strategies mainly in Java and .NET - Ensure that appropriate and effective security techniques and solutions are identified and implemented through code review or application security testing - Assist project teams with end-to-end secure solutions and recommend and implement security controls as well as provide secure coding techniques - Provide hands-on project consulting on security issues around architecture and code - Perform application security testing on web sites, applications and client / service applications using a combination of static and dynamic analysis tools coupled with manual validation to ensure applications meet security requirements - Provide hands-on analysis/reverse engineering to identify security defects and inadequacies in software - Analyze the business processes to identify issues with service or product delivery caused by failure of internal controls, information systems or through weaknesses in operating procedures - Review requirements and approve implementation plans - Participate in all stages of the SDLC/project process including business process analysis, threat modeling, requirements documentation & reviews, system and architecture designs, testing, deployment & implementation - Attend meetings - Participate in activities and develop relationships with other managers and project team members - Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested   Required Skills and Experience: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Security/Systems Engineering or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and work experience - 5 years of experience in both Cyber Security and Software Development - Experience with reverse engineering, software and communication protocols - Experience with security assessment methodologies, penetration testing, red teaming, vulnerability and assessments - Experience with incorporating security in Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) - Experience with Architecture & Design including authentication, authorization, and configuration management, cryptography; exception management, auditing and logging - Perform security assessments of web based and more traditional client/service networked applications - Provide secure architectural and programming guidance to developers - Experience performing analysis, developing specifications, designing, constructing, testing and implementing secure solutions designs - Ability to abstract the solution architecture into different views and domains, apply critical thinking skills,... http://bull.hn/l/11NWD/5"
