Group: IT Recruiters Subject: Looking for Application Support Consultant - Singapore Ria Estreller posted a job: Looking for Application Support Consultant - Singapore "Responsibilities · Provide level 1 and level 2 support to the EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) branches for a core banking application including off hours support. · Ensure that production incidents and enquiries from the business users are followed until their appropriate closure (incident communication, root cause analysis and permanent resolution) · Engagement with the development teams on a regular basis, and appropriate escalation of critical queries. · Monitoring of batches to ensure that any incident is solved in a timely manner · Prepare and maintain technical support documentation Requirements Candidates should have 2-5 years experience in Support, with exposure to Banking industry. · Knowledge in RDBMS Oracle 9.x/10g/11g, UNIX, Shell scripting, Java, Websphere, TOAD, and PL/SQL · Exposure in data warehouse and business intelligence tool (Business Objects) is an advantage · Knowledge of all phases of the system development /implementation life cycle (SDLC) is preferable · Excellent communication and interpersonal skills · Posses strong analysis and problem solving or troubleshooting skills · Self motivated and excellent team player · Strong perseverance and diligence towards attaining goals and effective time management"
