Group: IT Recruiters Subject: Manning Global is currently looking for EPC Engineers in Ireland on contract basis Claus Wolfsteiner posted a job: Manning Global is currently looking for EPC Engineers in Ireland on contract basis "On behalf of our client, a prestigious International Telecommunications company, Manning Global is currently looking for EPC Engineers in Ireland on contract basis. Job responsibilities: • Support for Core solution as integrated with core equipment on customer lab premises • Define, develop, and execute test cases to meet customer requirements and demonstrate feature functionality. • Perform lab tests to evaluate the performance against requirements for HW/SW releases, validate the performance of a release before going in live networks, and reproduce field issues • Present test results and product implementation information to the customer when required • Keep the lab nodes up with the latest software updates and upgrades with consultation with customer resources • Provide configuration changes required for testing and day-day maintenance on the nodes installed • Help to define methods and recommendations to introduce new features in customer networks, to configure them according to operator's strategy, and to evaluate their performances in the customer lab • Transfer know-how on features to other Service team, to allow them to introduce and operate new releases in customer networks. • Validation of network element EPC functionality and technical requirements • Validation of configuration, fault and software management as well as other relevant functionalities as call processing and O&M of EPC • Contribute to design aspects of Core interfaces for operational efficiency • Develop lab test plans and procedures for EPC • Field validation of EPC and monitor performance of nodes during pre-commercial operations Requirements: • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience (Master's Degree preferred) • elecom Engineer with expertise in element management systems • Excellent Knowledge of LTE EPS Technology • Detailed understanding on 3GPP specifications • Know-how and experience in mobile networks (EPC and IMS ) • Understanding of LTE call processing and signalling • Experience or interest for lab activities, performances analysis via counters & traces • Initiative and autonomy in approach to work • Proven Track record in a similar position • Excellent Presentation Skills If you are interested, please submit your CV in English and Word Doc format to Ina Zheng at sales@manningglobal.com with reference LIIZ/EPCIRE-13970 or call Ina on +49 89 2388 9848."
