Rachael Manning posted a job: Manning Global is currently looking for an experienced Cutover Project Manager - UK "Manning Global is currently looking for an experienced Cutover Project Manager for one of our clients, a leading International Telecommunications Company, for a contract position based in the UK Responsibilities: From top to bottom to break down the cutover and pilot activities (Handbook), it includes • Interface switch over steps • data migration steps • Infrastructure steps • Test steps • 3rd parties (integration) steps • Legacy vendor’s steps • Rollback and emergency solution Define whole migration strategy, including • Whole Migration steps (2 steps or 3) • One migration event or multiple? • Define the pilot strategy (how many splitter?) • Define high level cut over & pilot entry criteria • Be able to write-up a book with a list of clearly defined check-points, establishing if client has the correct set-up in place to complete the migration successfully.
