Group: Technology Recruiters Subject: Marimba Application Package Engineer/ Plano, TX/ 3+ Months Ajay Sharma posted a job: Marimba Application Package Engineer/ Plano, TX/ 3+ Months "Job Title: Marimba Application Package Engineer Location: Plano, TX Duration: 3+ Months Responsibility: • Engineer comprehensive, thoughtful and flexible application software packages, to internal team standards, using Blade Logic Client Automation/Marimba. • Unit test packages, document and communicate findings. • Peer Review assigned packages and proactively communicate status. • Resolve and communicate package related defects. • Resolve assigned SM9 tickets and IT-IT requests. Required Skills: • 3-5 years of experience in software packaging and deployment to Windows Servers and Workstations using BMC Blade Logic Client Automation 7.x/8.x (Marimba). • Proficient in scripting using one or more of the following technologies: Microsoft Batch (preferred), Microsoft PowerShell, Microsoft VB Script. • Candidate should have strong experience in customizing and re-packaging MSI files. • Experience in Windows XP, Windows 2003/2008. • Possess excellent analytical and communication skills with an emphasis on customer service. • Ability to present technical information in a non-technical manner, multi-task, set priorities and meet project deadlines.
