"Technical Writer in Plano, TX I have 2 Technical Writer positions available in Plano, TX. Below is the job description. These are 6 - 8 week contract positions with possible extensions. The client is ready to hire today if possible. If you think you are a fit, or know someone who might be, please respond with the following: 1) Resume 2) Hourly Rate (please be specific) 3) At least 3 Professional References 4) Availability to interview and start 5) Best time and number to contact you TECHNICAL WRITER Experience: Min 3 -5 yrs experience in the following Must-Have Requirements Writing Qualification Test Plans, Procedures, and Reports. Creating illustrations of simple test apparatus and test block diagrams. Working with subject matter experts. Working with assembly drawings and parts lists. Managing documentation process flow from specification review through final customer review and acceptance.. Technical Skills: MS Windows 7/MS Office 10 (Word) proficiency (knowledge of styles, templates, page/section breaks, graphic insertion) independently tested and verified. Adobe Acrobat (creation of PDF files) Visio (ability to manipulate to produce technical views for use in manuals).
