Application Administrator in New Jersey We are looking for an Application Administrator with Load Balancing and Application Integration Experience that will focus on designing and implementing solutions that support web applications.  S/He will work in collaboration with development, code management, operation, and other technical subject matter experts and coordinate the integration of new and existing technologies and/or solutions that affect all areas such as network, operating systems, web services, fail-over capability, supportability and maintainability. This is a 4+ Month Consulting Assignment.   Purpose and Key Responsibilities: Design Support, Configuration, and Troubleshooting of MS SQL Server, .NET and Java Applications, and Web Services Develop and implement solutions to monitor and troubleshoot production outages of .NET and Java applications in a Web Services Architecture Measures and monitor application performance, and troubleshoots bottlenecks Responsible for the process of building integrated solutions based on the application design and the standard product portfolio, includes identifying dependencies and pre-requisites for the solution and validating non-functional attributes of the application design. Responsible for the process of defining and documenting the hardware, software, infrastructure components, modules, interfaces, scalability, and high availability solutions that meet specified business development requirements   Knowledge and Experience Required: Minimum 5 years of installing, configuring, deploying, and monitoring Web based applications (C#, .NET, Java) Requires broad architectural knowledge of all components of applications and infrastructure systems including object and component based development environments; communications technologies including middleware and open gateways; and multiple backend database technologies. Must be skilled in the design/management/oversight of multiple development/infrastructure efforts integrating multiple technologies to implement the process component of a requirements based solution.
