Group: IT Recruiters Subject: Looking for Sharepoint Administrator for our client in Covington, KY Bhavesh Adani posted a job: Looking for Sharepoint Administrator for our client in Covington, KY "Summary The appropriate candidate will be accountable for ensuring the Application Development, Support and Implementation meets the needs of our internal clients from a functional, performance and usability perspective. Responsibilities: • Responsible for SharePoint administration and the coordination and implementation of best use practices including creation of workflow process and site customization • Creation and maintenance of Sites and Site Collections and associated databases and services • Qualification, installation and maintenance of any Plug-in, Feature, Web Part, Template or Solution, including 3rd party software or applications • Responsible for implementing and maintaining search services, including defining search scopes • Site customization including creation of custom web components • Infrastructure and deployment planning and execution • Providing occasional support the SDLC team when needed including troubleshooting and problem analysis • Migration Tools for SP 2003, 2007 and 2010, File systems and Documentum • Ability to develop in Java and CMIS • Experience with MS PowerShell scripting • Experience with WebServices, including SOAP and REST • Ability to install and configure 3rd Party applications such as, Metavis Architect, Virto Bulk File Upload, Storage Point • Ability to analyze and troubleshoot Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline • 3 Years of Java development experience • At least 3 years’ experience in systems development with 2 or more years in Internet Environment • 3 years of experience implementing, deploying and customizing SharePoint • Strong knowledge of concepts, practices and procedures of traditional and Agile project lifecycles • Experience developing client facing, web applications supporting multiple browsers • Basic .net skills as they pertain to developing for SharePoint • Knowledge of Active Directory • Document and Records Management a plus • Experience with off shore teams and enterprise initiatives a plus • Experience with 3rd Party applications such as, Metavis Architect, Virto Bulk File Upload, Storage Point a plus"
