"Expert Security Analyst - UK (Telecoms, Novel Analysis Techniques, HCSEC, Security Analysts, UK, Perm) An experienced Expert Security Analyst is needed for one of our clients, a leading International Telecommunications Company based in the UK, on a permanent basis. You will be based in Banbury. Job description: This is a cross cutting role within HCSEC with specific responsibility for increasing the technical maturity of the organisation and its staff. The role will involve developing novel analysis techniques for use in HCSEC and increasing the knowledge and practical application skills of the existing security analysts. Responsibilities: ● Carry out all work duties with due regard to Health and Safety ● Work in accordance with all relevant HCSEC policies, processes and procedures ● Demonstrate continuous improvement by developing security skills and enhancing HCSEC capability ● Undertake analysis of our client’s products to identify, categorise and document potential security vulnerabilities or areas for improvement so that remediation and mitigation advice can be given to R&D and UK stakeholders ● Utilise a wide variety of tools and techniques to evaluate weaknesses in products including Static Code Analysis, Source Code Analysis, reverse engineering, exploit development and hacking techniques. ● Work in accordance with HCSEC innovation programme to identify, initiate and carry out security research activities as appropriate ● Design and develop new tools and processes that automate the evaluation of our client’s products ● Improve existing staff’s analytical skills Requirements: ● Experience in exploiting vulnerabilities in systems, preferably in a telecoms environment. ● Deep understanding of all forms of penetration and ethical hacking tools, Static Code analysis, source code analysis and reverse engineering tools and techniques applied to C and C++ software. Proficient in both use of these tools and interpretation of results. ● Good knowledge of C and C++ ● Good knowledge of a wide range of operating systems and scripting languages ● Proven ability to programme in a number of modern languages (eg JAVA, C#) ● Knowledge and practical experience of modern communications technologies If you are interested, available and have the appropriate skills and experiences for the above position, please forward your updated resume in a word document to Jason sales@manningglobal.com with the following reference LIJV/ESA-4215 or call +385 1 638 7404 for further information.
