Duc Nguyen has started a discussion: IT system Admin in Luanda / Angola "IT Systems Administrator This role is responsible for providing technical support to the CRMS Angola contract, ensuring proper operations of all Cotecna systems (incl. CRMS and ValueQuest) at/within Angola customs and providing all necessary assistance to the technical client within the DTI. Main Tasks: • Systems Rollout and Maintenance (both Test and Production Environments) • Deployment of Cotecna’s applications • Systems and Applications monitoring • 1st & 2nd level Support on Cotecna software applications (web services, database, services and executables, application’s GUI) • Production of weekly reports on IT activities to be transmitted to technical superiors Required profile: • Bachelor degree in computer science • Experience in IT Consulting • Microsoft certifications are a plus • If possible, good understanding of Customs Environment and operational procedures Good technical knowledge: • Good technical knowledge of Microsoft environment (servers & clients) • Basic knowledge of Microsoft .NET and Web Services technologies • Understanding system’s log files in order to be able to provide developers (3rd level support) with sufficient information to correct issues and errors • Very good technical knowledge of databases and DBMS (in particular MS SQL Server – Oracle a plus) Competencies: • Efficiently and constructively autonomous • Flexibility and commitment to achieving targets • Very Rigorous • Works well as team player; shares information and ideas • Strong analysis and problem-solving skills • Strong customer-orientation Languages: • Portuguese and/or Spanish • AND French and/or English On request, a more detailed job description can be provided."
