Interested parties should contact Nicole@JGBBioPharma.com DESCRIPTION: Reviews and executes internal purchase requisitions into purchase orders that effectively procure goods and services yielding maximum value and satisfying the requirements of sites. Works and participates in a cross functional / organizational team environment to understand end user requirements and make decisions necessary to effectively provide the highest level of quality and service. A wide degree of latitude is expected. • Under supervision use best practices to review requisitions, select suppliers, create and communicate purchase orders in the ERP system, and expedite deliveries of materials and services to support specified user groups • Place orders with suppliers, acting as liaison to communicate accepted standards of quality / price and service and identify related issues for resolution. Establish effective communication / relationships with suppliers. • Work with designated departments and projects to assure order placement and delivery of requested goods and services. • Update and maintain vendor files, purchasing records and databases. Process purchasing reports, document value added through cost savings / avoidances, lead-time and quality improvements. Resolve invoice questions as applicable. • Perform tasks per standard operating procedures. • Administer agreements per Standard Terms and Conditions. • Provide input to improvement initiatives that create cost, productivity, quality or job enrichment opportunities. EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: • Willingness to learn a variety of concepts, practices, and procedures of the procurement, R&D, and manufacturing fields. • Knowledge of SAP, Synertrade e-sourcing tool and Ariba Buyer is a plus • Perform a variety of tasks with supervision– must be a team player, proactive, organized, detail oriented, flexible, and motivated, with good communication skills. • BS / BA degree or equivalent and 2 years experience.
