Head Corporate HSE • Establish Safety and Environmental policy and objectives at corporate level. • Advise and assist the management in fulfillment of statutory and regulatory obligations. • Develop, implementation, monitor, improve and sustain HSE management system. • Overall responsible for the HSE performance at Corporate Level. • Focus on preventive measures to ensure Company Policy of ‘Zero Tolerance in Safety’ • Responsible for certification & maintenance of all HSE/ISO 9001/ OHSAS 18001 & ISO 14001 systems related documents. • Development of various in-house training programs for competency development. • Integrate 5S culture to improve housekeeping and safety at corporate level. • Develop, facilitate, implement, comply, monitor, improve and sustain effective safety and Environmental documentation at corporate level. • Advise and assist the Design, plant engineering and other department in ensuring safety and Environmental compliance in supply chain from engineering, mobilization to demobilization stage. • Ensure internal and external audits compliance effectively. • Continuously monitor the safety performance at corporate level and update the management on regular basis. • Ensuring the Safety Committee at Corporate level. • Ensure contractor safety and Environmental management during selection, compliance, monitor and evaluation. • Interact with sites, client/ consultant/ professional bodies on HSE issue. • Represent Gammon in various national and international HSE forum • Preparation of HSE procedures/ Plans and other related documentation to be submitted along with the tenders (pre bid). • Estimation of HSE aspects required for new jobs. • Regularly communicating all HSE related information across the company for creating awareness amongst employees. • Organize various safety and Environmental promotional and motivational activities for sites to enhance and maintain the interest of employees towards HSE issues.
