Contribute to the System Architecture and Design, and Author Functional and Design specs 2. Write high-quality and performance-sensitive code for systems that are deployed in 24x7 carrier-grade environments 3. Write Unit Test and Integration Test plans. Debug problems at the system level 4. Experience needed in Router system infrastructure, Platform driver development in Microcode, TCAM and L2/L3 forwarding, MPLS/VPN, QoS, ATM, POS, GigE technology areas 5. Collaborate and work with engineers in local and remote teams, to deliver on project commitments 6. Ability to work as a very good team member and share resources, work content to meet common team goals 7. Very good customer interaction skills 8. Ability to multi-task, and work under project pressure. Technical Skills • Good Understanding in IP Routing, Forwarding & MPLS Protocols/Technology • Experience in Networking technologies, protocols and/or infrastructure (please see the detailed Technical Requirements below) • Excellent C/C++ programming experience in Multi-threaded, Multi- Processor, Scalable and Highly Available RTOS Systems • Ability to debug complicated system-level issues. • Exposure to product life cycle and tools • Customer experience: Reproduction and debugging of customer issues, handling of field queries Details on Technical requirements Networking Technologies: • IPv4/v6, MPLS, BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, PIM • MPLS based L3 VPN and QoS(TE) • ATM, Frame Relay, HDLC, SONET, SDH, POS, IPoDWDM • L2-L3 Apps (L2 protocols such as HDLC, PPP, ARP, HSRP/VRRP, CDP) • L2 VPN: (AToM, VPLS, VPWS) and QoS(TE) • Ethernet: GE, 802.1q VLANs, 802.1ad (QinQ) • ACL, QoS Switch/Router Platform Infrastructure: • L2/L3 Forwarding Infrastructure Soft-skills • Excellent verbal/written communication skills, Teamwork and interpersonal skills • Interact with various functions and teams of the product, including marketing, QA, H/W, A/C teams • Mentor junior engineers Mail To: rashmi@onssearch.in Mobile: 9742602927"
