Developing test plans, test cases in system test scenario to carry out testing on xxx products: - Scalability, functionality and Perf testing - Negative tests and corner cases - Map customer scenarios to test cases - Stress tests, longevity tests - Testing feature combos 2. Develop topology based on test requirements and setting up the test bed 3. Manual and automated testing, Quick sanity tests 4. Understand xxx release process, product life cycle and fit the system testing within the release timelines 5. Follow test processes such as bug logging, bug repro, result archival 6. Ability to work as a very good team member and share resources, work content to meet common team goals 7. Very good customer interaction skills 8. Ability to multi-task, and work under project pressure. Technical Skills • Good Understanding of Networking Technologies, Protocols & Infrastructure and MPLS Protocols/Technology (please see the detailed technical requirements listed below) • Testing and debugging Experience • Ability to apply creativity and intelligence to craft test suites that uncover product defects • Ability to debug complicated system-level issues. • Exposure to product life cycle and tools • Customer experience: Reproduction and debugging of customer issues, handling of field queries Details on Technical requirements Networking Technologies: • IPv4/v6, MPLS, BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, PIM • MPLS based L3 VPN and QoS(TE) • ATM, Frame Relay, HDLC, SONET, SDH, POS, IPoDWDM • L2-L3 Apps (L2 protocols such as HDLC, PPP, ARP, HSRP/VRRP, CDP) • L2 VPN: (AToM, VPLS, VPWS) and QoS(TE) • Ethernet: GE, 802.1q VLANs, 802.1ad (QinQ) • ACL, QoS Switch/Router Platform Infrastructure: • L2/L3 Forwarding Infrastructure Soft-skills • Excellent verbal/written communication skills, Teamwork and interpersonal skills • Interact with various functions and teams of the product, including marketing, QA, H/W, A/C teams etc. Mail To: rashmi@onssearch.in Mobile: 9742602927"
