"Our client is an international leader in the Luxury Hospitality industry. For this client, Timeo-Performance is now recruiting a Country Sales & Marketing Manager Malaysia, based in Kuala-Lumpur. Position reporting to General Manager - South East Asia Job Description MISSIONS (1) Define vision and overall strategy for country. (2) Define and implement organization. (3) Prepare further development based on country’s needs. (1) MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES SALES • Set sales objectives of country to be in line with company’s objectives and strategies. • Training, setting sales revenue targets, implements strategic actions such as sales incentive program and monitoring performance of sales team & travel agencies. • Collaborate in the development and maintenance of structurally efficient sales and telemarketing organization. • Prepare and give recommendation on Sales & Marketing monthly report or any other reports and prepare the presentations for the Regional meetings. MARKETING • Develop marketing strategy and set marketing objectives for each country to be in line with company’s objectives and strategies. • Handle all matters and take actions on all marketing activities which arise and are assigned by General Manager and Regional office. • Assess the general situation on local market and activities and provide recommendation on present situation on the market. • Negotiate with airlines and co-partners for marketing promotions and maintain and develop good relations with media, airlines and co-partners from time to time. • Prepare and give recommendations on monthly reports or equivalent as well as prepare the presentations for the Regional and other meetings. • Develop Public Relation activities and exposure to the public from time to time. PRICING & BUDGET • Prepare and give recommendation on pricing strategy for Malaysia. • Prepare Sales & Marketing budgets for commercial activities e.g. price, volume etc. (2) DISTRIBUTION • Organization Development: Proposes recommendations to establish relevant sites procession metrics/policies and procedures to improve the sales/marketing structures • Internet Development: Explore and develop sales & marketing programs via internet to widen the segment coverage • Segment Marketing: Continue to build target segments such as French and Japanese expatriate markets in Malaysia and build awareness/generate sales among local families with high disposable income. • Be the Top-of-Mind brand for honeymooners and develop corporate market for corporate business. • Expand our client’s distribution in Malaysia and gain more support from Travel Agents. (3) KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS • P&L responsibility. • MBO: to be set with hiring manager upon commencement of work. • Roll out of marketing programs for the targeted market segments. • 360 feedback. ELIGIBILITY • Proven track record in sales & marketing role within tourism, fashion, lifestyle, luxury(FMGG)/cosmetics and/or hospitality related industries • Candidate must possess strong capability in handling marketing mix for the consumer products • Strong sales & marketing background with a sense of luxury lifestyle • Clear understanding of the local market and candidate with overseas working experience will be an added advantage • Possesses interests in e-business in order to explore and activate sales & marketing programs via the web in order to reach out to a wider target audience Interested?
