Subject: Searching for a “Senior Specialist Engineering Platforms Projects and Operations Architecture” in Germany Yen Tran Kim posted a job: Searching for a “Senior Specialist Engineering Platforms Projects and Operations Architecture” in Germany "Hi All, For our customer in the Germany we are currently searching for a “Senior Specialist Engineering Platforms Projects and Operations Architecture” It’s a permanent role. Location: Berlin, Eastern Germany Job Description: • Lead the Engineering Platforms architecture • Ensure that the PLM infrastructure, it’s associated hardware, middleware and software supports the strategic and operational goals • Responsible for the consolidation of the existing PLM landscape (End User Computing, Servers & Storage) • Development of the PLM infrastructure framework • Champion key PLM initiatives and innovation driven projects • Review related project documentation and status reports • Direct PLM supplier integration activities and implement safe, cost-effective solutions to maximize collaboration with third parties whilst minimizing operational cost and risk • Define and review standard configurations of Hardware and Software • Maintaining relationship with key partners and business champions • Review and approve Engineering platforms related End User Computing, Servers and Storage services requests • Monthly operational review and governance of service delivery • Own and drive audit management action plans Skills: • Degree in computer science or equivalent qualification • 5 years of professional experience working in a relevant IT field • Substantial understanding of IS processes and operational procedures • Deep knowledge in technical infrastructure across multiple disciplines (Virtualization, Storage, Wintel, - Unix, PLM Tools and interfaces) and interconnectivity with network (LAN/WAN/VPN) • Open to frequent international travel • Fluent in spoken and written English If this is of interest to you, we would be happy to receive your updated CV in Word Format, your availability at your earliest convenience via resourcing-itsouth@harveynash.com.
