"This is a growth opportunity. Our client was seeking a motivated individual with a minimum of 5 years of channel sales experience, exceptional interpersonal skills, knowledge and/or enthusiasm for the renewable energy industry and the ability to sell highly technical products and services to commercial and utility-scale customers. This is an unique and rare opportunity to manage an established and rapidly-growing territory recently available due to the meteoric growth has been experiencing. TITLE: Channel Sales Manager LOCATION: Munich, Germany REPORT TO: Sales Director, Germany KEY RESPONSIBILITY: - Finding and winning new customers. - Growing existing customer accounts. - Contributing to the operation's activities by participating in sales review meetings. REQUIREMENTS: - Bachelor degree in business or a technical field (engineering preferred). - A minimum of 5 years of demonstrated success in a sales role. Experience in technical industries, especially PV systems, would be an asset. - Demonstrated success selling with and through a channel sales model. - An understanding of the solution selling process through developing sales by seeding the business with ideas and strategic placement of the company's message. - The ability to incorporate seasoned professionals to achieve coordinated and integrated responses to procurement bids. - Proven ability to bring a strong strategic perspective, including: the ability to "think outside the box" by developing and pursuing opportunities previously unseen or overlooked by competitors and the market; and to translate these insights into detailed strategies and actionable plans. - Strong communications and team building skills in order to draw upon the company's sales team to create a winning strategy. - Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills, including the ability to exhibit poise and confidence in formal and informal settings with senior executives, peers, and business partners. - A history of developing strong and effective relationships in a broad spectrum of environments while remaining open-minded, flexible and willing to explore the merits of diverse ideas, regardless of their origins. - A track record of having demonstrated good judgment in complex and/or sensitive situations.
