"Generator Group has partnered with a leading sporting goods and apparel company to identify a new Sales Manager, Key Accounts – Outdoor to support their organizational growth. This is an opportunity to be part of a great success story, as our client continues to impact the industry like no other company has. Responsibilities Include: - Based in their Denver, CO office, will be responsible for driving/securing revenue in apparel, footwear and accessories sales with one of the most critical/strategic Outdoor retailers - Help to manage all related business for one of their largest Outdoor Key Accounts – to include (but not limited to) forecasting, sales presentations, inquiries regarding orders, shipments and products - Drive growth with their existing categories and product lines, as well as develop new business initiatives within this account - Provide daily service and support to the Sr. Manager, as well as the Sales Planning, Product, Customer Service and Marketing teams that work on the business - Instrumental in building relationships with merchant teams to help set the organization up to succeed in 2013 and beyond - Support team responsible for effectively communicating with over 125+ external Key Account employees that touch their business Ideal Candidate Profile: - Bachelor’s degree - 3 years of experience in Sales, preferably working with Regional/National accounts in the Sporting Goods/Outdoor Industry - High-level skills with database/spreadsheet programs, SAP and MS Office - Excellent communication and strong relationship building skills required - Ability to multi-task and prioritize is crucial in their fast paced environment - Strong analytical skills and have a firm understanding of retail math - Experience with assortment planning and forecasting apparel, accessories or footwear businesses - Problem solver who thinks independently and is a self-starter with an incredibly strong work ethic - Team player - Outdoor enthusiast a plus Qualified and interested candidates can visit www.generatorgroup.net or submit their cover letter and resume to: resumes@generatorgroup.net with BHJOB3190_2357 in the subject line."
