Group: Technology Recruiters Subject: C# WPF Developer for Montreal Jyotsna Chaudhary posted a job: C# WPF Developer for Montreal "Location: Montreal-QC, Canada Duration: 2-3 years+ Position Description The Foreign Exchange (FX) electronic trading technology team is responsible for design, development and maintenance of FX real-time market making and electronic trading systems. The high availability, low latency environment consists of C++ core pricing engines and peripheral trading systems utilizing Java, C# and third party trading platforms. We partner closely with strats/(quants), traders/(bookrunners) and sales to deliver a best in class electronic trading experience to our clients. The focus of this technology role will include: - Working closely with the FX desk to identify and define requirements - Designing, developing and maintaining efficient code to support business requirements - Working closely with colleagues in the FX technology, and other teams to deliver integrated solutions - Day to day support Skills Required 1-3 years experience working with C# WPF and Winforms - Experience supporting distributed systems in a highly complex, high-urgency environment. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Strong team player - Highly motivated, analytical thinking individual. - Problem solving skills and the ability to multi-task.
