Group: IT Recruiters Subject: nXt-IT is looking for a Peoplesoft T&L & Absence mgt Tester Start : asap Duration : 3 months Location : Brussels Refrence nr 1491 Sarah De Laet posted a job: nXt-IT is looking for a Peoplesoft T&L & Absence mgt Tester Start : asap Duration : 3 months Location : Brussels Refrence nr 1491 "Role : PeopleSoft Tester/Functional Analyst - Time & Labour / Absence Management About the Project : This project aims to transfer the HR Time & Attendance processes/functionalities from mainframe to PeopleSoft 9.1 by configuring the module Time & Labour - for all requirements concerning positive time (overtime, shifts, etc) - and the module Absence management – negative time (holidays, sickness, etc) The Core team for Design & Build has been chosen. The project is on-going already. However for testing, we still require to ramp up urgently. Given the complexity of both modules, ING wants to strengthen the ING test team with in-depth functional knowledge to assure quality of testing, reduce the learning curve and increase efficiency budget-wise. Mission : As Functional Consultant/Tester, your main missions will be: • Perform System Testing, assist in Functional Acceptance Testing and User Acceptance Testing – this includes activities such as: - Determination of the test requirements and test scenarios - Design and development of test cases - Organisation of review of test cases - Teaching how to use and to prepare test data - Execution of manual testing, registration of test results and defaults - Reporting of progress and test results - Follow up of defaults during the life cycle • Participate to project team meetings This list of tasks can be extended if and when appropriate. In the context of the Project, following main deliverables will be required: • Test planning (optional) • Test scenario’s • Test reports Working environment : The Functional Analyst/Tester will be part of the Project Team, well attached to the Test Team and will assist the Test Manager in all test related activities. He will functionally report to the Project Manager, for all Testing aspects and hierarchically to the Test Manager. Profile : - In-depth functional knowledge of the modules PeopleSoft HR – Time & Labour / Absence Management (>3 years) - Experience in testing: test preparation, test execution, test reporting, defect management (> 3 years) - Experience with HP Quality Center - Languages: Fluent in English, knowledge of Dutch and/or French is a plus Skills : - You have outstanding analytical and problem solving skills. - You are communicative, assertive and able to present concepts and data in a structured and well-ordered way, and to present ideas diplomatically. - You work in a methodological and structured way, and you pay attention to details. - You respect deadlines, and you are able to set the right priorities. - You are a team player and you enjoy working in various and dynamic teams. - Stress management is an absolute requisite for this job. more info? jobs@nxt-it.biz reference nr 1491"
