Group: IT Recruiters Subject: nXt-IT is looking for a SW developer start : asap duration : 6 months location : antwerpen reference nr 1455 Sarah De Laet posted a job: nXt-IT is looking for a SW developer start : asap duration : 6 months location : antwerpen reference nr 1455 "Technical Requirements: - experience with Linux version 3.x. for different processor architecture ( MIPS, ARM) - experience in creating vmlinux on top of a processor and specific peripherals; i.e selecting/adapting drivers - experience in bootloader and kernel/operational-SW upgrade ( what in prom , what on nand flash) - experience with UIO framework and unix device tree - extend Xenomai-forge with debug, align with latest version ( being currently used as skin portation layer ) - access to nand file system - hardware watchdog support in linux - concurrent (application) access to devices - common driver sources for different kernel versions. - enable coredump Tools: - use of Buildroot & U-boot - use of Mercurial People requirements: - being able to work in a team ( 5 persons ) - being able to pass his experience to other less experienced people in team ( therefore on site presence is required for at least 3 out of 5 days) is key. - organize within team meetings to agree on solutions ( for issues or alternatives to current way of working) - able to work out ideas ( at least prototyping ), i.e not only theoretical knowledge - talk fluently English More info? jobs@nxt-it.biz reference nr 1455"
