Group: IT Recruiters Subject: Anna Reddy posted a job: "Now Hiring: Sr. Data Architect in Charlotte, NC Sr. Data Architect - Functional Contract – 12+ Months Charlotte NC   Interviewing immediately****   Skills that are absolutely required:   Exceptional Communication skills Looking for Sr. Data Architects Dimensional Modeling experience.    Any exposure to Netezza would be helpful as the client is using Netezza within their very large Data Warehouse. Data Architect with extensive Data Modeling (physical, logical) experience.  Experience working with very large, enterprise-level, data Warehouses Netezza Be able to communicate to business users and program sponsors the decisions made in the data model for optimal performance.   Develops, manages, and updates data models, including physical and logical models of the staging, data warehouse and data mart areas.   Technical Characteristics: - Understands the fundamental concepts and architectural principles of data warehousing. - Possesses full life cycle experience in data warehousing. - Architects to translate business requirements into technical specifications. - Evolves data models to meet new and changing business requirements. - Coordinates business requirements for data needs. - Develops processes for capturing and maintaining metadata from all data warehousing components. - Maps logical data models to physical data models. - Communicates physical database designs to database administrator.   Behavior Characteristics: - Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and comfortable working in a large organization across multiple teams. - Good decision-making capabilities possessing both conceptual and analytical skills. - Able to communicate effectively with all levels in a clear and professional manner, verbally and written. - Ability to problem solve and multitask. - Must possess competency in all phases of software development. - Good understanding of MPP and or large SMP environments.    Additional Job Details: - Be able to communicate to business users and program sponsors the decisions made in the data model for optimal performance. - Will be designing for Netezza NPS. - Data Modeling activities will make use of ERwin's Data Modeler Workgroup tool. http://bull.hn/l/Z7AF/4"
