"US CITIZENS / GREEN CARD HOLDERS / PERMANENT RESIDENTS ONLY!!! We have an immediate need for a business development field representative to cover North America west of the Mississippi. A large portion of the customers in the territory are concentrated in the San Francisco and San Diego regions. Client contacts range from bench scientists to C-level executives. •The position reports to the Executive Director of North American Business Development. It substantially interfaces with the company’s mostly Ph.D.-level scientific study managers and C-level executives. The position is supported by Boston-based administrative support. •The role’s primary objective is to seek out and build relationships with prospects. The role also supports account management efforts, which are the primary responsibility of our study managers, who are the primary point of contact for active customers. The position receives substantial support from our study managers and senior scientists in developing proposals and closing sales. Closing is generally a team effort. Desired Skills & Experience •Demonstrated prospecting success •Ability to travel 50% of the time •Consultative selling skills Desired Attributes: •Experience selling highly technical scientific services •Pharmaceutical research experience, especially in ADME Tox and pharmacokinetics •Prior experience as a bench scientist •Advanced life sciences degree. •Experience selling preclinical development services •Demonstrated success in selling services trish.gomez@bridgepointepartners.com 4153667198"
