"We are currently looking for a Director of Health Economics for a growing biopharmaceutical firm in Tarrytown, NY (domestic relocation is offered). In this role the Director of HEOR will be responsible for the development and implementation of health economics and outcomes research strategies that enhances the brand. You will also be expected to provide input into the business decisions and the communication plans from health economic and reimbursement perspective. You will also work closely with national medical associations to influence policy on health economics and policy reform related to payment/funding issues. Finally you will drive favorable advocacy strategies healthcare providers and payers as well as provide guidance and input to pricing strategies based on evolving healthcare payment initiatives. For this role you should have a PhD or PharmD in the pharmaceutical biotech industry plus 10 years health economics, public health, health services research, policy analysis and healthcare administration experience. Knowledge of reimbursement, coverage, coding and payment processes is desirable. On offer is a salary of $100-160K + bonus + benefits.
