"Senior Manager of Global Health Economics, Outcomes Research and Reimbursement required for a global medical device firm based in the Minneapolis metro. Out client is looking for a Senior Manager in HEOR who will be responsible for developing strategies, and the subsequent tactical implementation, for diagnostic products. The role is responsible for initiating the procurement and compilation of global evidence requirements to support the creation of global strategic plans and evidence generation activities that reflect the global payer and economic decision-makers needs. This individual will possess demonstrated competence in reimbursement and health economics and be capable of articulating the current reimbursement landscape to influence management and cross functional leaders. Additionally, this individual will be accountable for developing and executing the creation of a new reimbursement pathway (coding, coverage and payment) for site of care expansion for existing and pipeline products. Key responsibilities: • Develop global reimbursement strategies for integration into the development, sales and marketing of the portfolio of CRDM diagnostics and monitoring portfolio. • Partner with global reimbursement staff to procure global reimbursement and economic stakeholder requirements and ensure appropriate Reimbursement and Health Economics analyses and perspectives are integrated into business plans and evidence planning. • Envision, develop and execute evidence generation activities including patient reported outcomes development, retrospective database analysis, economic modeling, meta analysis and other health service research endeavors. • Develop and execute specific strategies to enable optimal reimbursement, including reimbursement for site of care expansion. Assess and communicate the coding, coverage and payment landscape, globally. • Collate and summarize existing clinical and economic evidence to support product positioning and publication planning. • Develop and maintain a strategic reimbursement plan for each product. Contribute to the clinical strategy and Core Team requirements as necessary, encompassing global requirements to drive market access success. • Facilitate meetings with health care professionals and reimbursement and economic consultants as required to support strategic development or tactical implementation. For this role you must be degree educated and have at least 6 years experience in Health Economics & Outcomes Research or Reimbursement. You should also have demonstrable management experience as you will be managing consultants to execute the strategy you have developed. You should preferably has some knowledge of public and private funding streams, coding/coverage/payment, and process for policy development and implementation. You should be able to demonstrate success and experience in reimbursement and health economics in the support of product strategies and have the proven capacity for strategic thinking, planning and product development as it relates to an economically driven market place.
