Greythorn is an international recruitment firm with teams dedicated to specific IT verticals. My client in Chicago is currently looking for a Penetration Tester / Ethical Hacker to discover vulnerabilities within existing technology, aiding to the protection of critical systems during an ever changing technology environment. PENETRATION TESTER / ETHICAL HACKER Job Details: Full time Information Security opportunity with one of the largest insurance organizations. Relocation to Chicago is required and relocation assistance is provided. POSITION SUMMARY: The client is experiencing an unprecedented rate of technology change and the current security posture needs to grow. The current security team is seeking an expert in the field of Penetration Testing / Ethical Hacking to aid in finding current vulnerabilities within new and existing technology. The right person will have the ability to conduct the following: application analysis, malware analysis, protocol analysis, and debugging. The main responsibility of this position will be identifying/reporting security vulnerabilities and the risks those vulnerabilities present to senior management with recommended solutions. DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: 1) One or more of the following certifications: CISSP, GIAC, CEH, OSCP. 2) Experience in vulnerability research, reverse engineering, binary analysis, and assembler. 3) Vulnerability scanning tools, example: Nessus, Nexpose, Saint. 4) Web application vulnerability scanning tools: IBM AppScan, HP Webinspect, etc. 5) Static analysis tools. 6) High level programming: Java, C, C++, .NET, C#, VB 7) Web application development: ASP, .NET, PHP, J2EE, JSP REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: 1) Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, with 4yrs of Security experience OR 6yrs of Security experience. 2) White Box or Black Box testing; knowledge in both types of testing environments is essential. 3) Source code reviews for security vulnerabilities. 4) Experience in some of all of the following: computer architecture, operating systems, and network protocols. 5) Experience with compiled and interpreted programs, for example: database systems, web servers, application servers, mainframes, firewalls, routers, load balancers, switches, and different types of middleware. 6) Debuggers and/or dissemblers If you are interested in pursuing this position then please contact Chaz Bantle at chaz.bantle@greythorn.com OR apply to this ad.
