This is full time perm & direct hire! "This is a full time permanent & direct hire job for an award winning and recognized leader in business Long Distance, Local, Internet, MPLS, SIP Trunking, and Conferencing services. You will be focused primarily on working with network engineers to design and qualify new network architectures based on business requirements. Requirements •Direct experience in service provider network design is mandatory. •Theoretical and practical application of protocols required. •Expert knowledge in TCP/IP, OSPF, and BGP required. •Strong background in Cisco IOS, routers, and switches required. •Meticulous lab testing capabilities, including generating test plans based on technical requirements. •Theoretical and practical application of Layer 2 VPNs (MPLS) •Experience using packet generators and analyzers desirable: Ethereal, Wireshark, etc. •Experience in inter-networking. •Excellent written and verbal communication skills. •Proven project management skills required. •Must work well in team environment. •VoIP experience is a plus.
