"Full upstream & downstream marketing lifecycle mgmt. of product. Establish relationships and work effectively with physician, other customers, field sales force & internal depts. Determine customer requirements, develop field sales tools and pgms., develop training programs, implement product positioning, pricing, and promotion and manage profitability. Establish product development priorities and timelines. Launch new products to physician community and field sales force. 1. Position product in market using creative strategies to maximize sales and profit. Grow product lines per objectives. 2. Determine strategic direction of product lines, considering other products within co. 3. Develop and implement strategic and tactical marketing launch plans for new products and line extensions. 4. Act as main in-house contact to provide regular and timely product, clinical, and technical information & support for sales force to increase knowledge and selling effectiveness. 5. Utilize knowledge gained from customers and sales force to develop useful sales pgms., info, and support materials aimed at improving customer knowledge and increasing usage of current products. 6. Work w/sales and clinical research to develop key opinion leaders for clinical data, white papers, physician speakers & clinical publications. 7. Determine sales force training requirements & develop training materials. 8. Track, analyze and respond to competitive activities. 9. Develop and analyze marketing and financial data. Create market share, dollar and unit reports. 10. Work w/sales and mfg. to provide accurate demand forecasting. 11. Provide timely marketing input & assist in R&D efforts. Interface closely with R&D to develop line extensions, product improvements, and work w/new product development. 12. For new product dev., assess viability of projects and provide recommendations. Establish product development priorities and timelines. Create marketing specs for new product dev. 13. Travel to customer sites/labs observe and attend clinical cases, visit physicians and attend conferences, meeting and tradeshows. 14. Additional projects and product lines as assigned by Dir. of Marketing. REQUIREMENTS 1. Solid knowledge of product development and marketing. Successful experience in managing, and launching disposable medical device products. 2. Strong mgmt., leadership, and motivational skills. 3. Ability to manage numerous projects and tasks concurrently. 4. Mature judgment and decision making skills. 5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 6. Results driven: proven track record of consistently exceeding goals. 7. Ability to understand complex clinical data and translate into comprehensible data for sales force. 8. Ability to effectively work with a global field sales force. 9. Ability to communicate with key clinical thought leaders. 10. Experience working with internal staff from all depts. to successfully manage product line. 11. Ability to effectively write marketing specs and working knowledge of document control. 12. Int’l medical marketing experience preferred. 13. Experience w/regulatory process (FDA, CE, etc.) preferred. Class 2 or 3 devices. 14. Computer skills: Excel, Word and PowerPoint. 15. Min 3 yrs. experience in medical device product management (4 to 7 preferred) 16. Experience in marketing neurovascular/endovascular/interventional devices strongly preferred 17. Willing to travel 50% 18. Bachelor of Science required. Business/marketing degree preferred. M.B.A a benefit 19.
