Job Description: Job Description:SofTec Solutions is seeking a Business Analyst for a 12 month+ contract to support the management of a healthcare system software package. You will be playing a critical role in supporting the operations functional areas (revenue cycle, claims, enrollment, premium billing, and member and provider services) to ensure superior service delivery capabilities to national accounts. The Business Anlayst will have the following responsibilities:-Works with business users to define, analyze, document, and report on problems and proposed solutions- Evaluates the implications of business and technical solutions to the current and future operating environments- Performs system end user support- Strong Technical Writer - Contributes to development of policies and procedures in support of business functions- Maintain & manage systems documentation in support of business requirements- A comprehensive understanding of healthcare plans, operations, and payer experience is a plus.Essential Skills Required-Good working knowledge of and demonstrated ability utilizing systems, tools, and processes- Have experience in program or process development and implementation- Deep domain knowledge and experience within the Health Care Payer Operations environment- Applies research, information gathering, and analytical skills to solving problems of diverse scope- Assumes responsibility for improving service, efficiency, and quality of work- Involved in putting together preliminary analysis of alternative business solutions- 6-8 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience- Experienced at setting project timeframes and priorities based on project objectives in changing environment- Excellent verbal and written communication skills- Customer first orientation, results driven, and innovativeHardware/Software PackagesMS Project, VISIO, Crystal Reporting, Windows XP applicationsMS Office, MS Project, VISIO, Windows applications, Web applications, web services, Agile development methodology and Object based programming"
