The Business Intelligence group is responsible for development, deployment, and support of custom business intelligence applications related to spend, contracts, and other procurement-related data. Job Responsibilities: o Trouble-shoots discrepancies and issues raised by users to determine if SAP BW modifications are needed. Provides functional specification and technical direction to IT staff to modify SAP BW as needed to correct data issues and/or meet business requirements. Tests and validates that changes are accurate and complete. o Supports the use of SAP BW-based solution that enables approximately 400 internal users around the world to analyze Third Party supplier spend. Responsible for ensuring documentation, reference materials and training materials are thorough and up-to-date. Collaborate with Learning & Development contact to develop Computer Based Training modules. Required PC Skills for the job: o Knowledge and experience delivering solutions utilizing SAP BW. Experience with SAP BW reporting and SAP reporting o Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Powerpoint, Word). Desired Skills: o Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst. o Demonstrates a balance of both technical and business analysis skills. o Experience working with IT professionals to deliver and support technical and business solutions to a global organization. o Ability to apply IT project management principles and tools. o Experience in testing and validation of transaction data. o Strong analytical skills Soft Skills: o Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to engage personnel at all levels of the organization, excellent customer relationship skills. o Highly motivated self-starter with strong organizational, teamwork and interpersonal behaviors.
