Group: IT Recruiters Subject: Contract Position: Web Project Manager - Downtown Houston, Texas Victoria Hsu posted a job: Contract Position: Web Project Manager - Downtown Houston, Texas "Contract Duration: Initial 6 months to start US local hires Job Overview: Looking for a Project Manager with a background overseeing web-based projects. The project manager will be responsible for producing cross-functional communication deliverables for all division clients within company. The project manager will primarily focus on web-based projects including new internal and external website builds and managing maintenance requests for existing sites. Position Details: Responsibilities: • Manage programs and complete project lifecycles of complex and high-impact projects • Understand and comply with our project methodology and standards • Develop project scopes and estimates, with input from functional teams • Set timelines and milestones • Manage projects so that they come in on time, within budget and in scope • Track project costs to assure accurate billing by the project team • Work independently with a minimum of coaching and supervision, and proceed on own initiative and judgment • Assign tasks to the project team and manage their day-to-day work • Work with Leads and other PMs to effectively manage resource allocation • Take responsibility and accountability for assigned projects • Facilitate project team and client meetings • Facilitate inter-and intra-team partnerships Required qualifications: • Project and program management experience and demonstrated skills • Strong understanding of project management principles • Ability to handle multiple projects with competing priorities • Possesses a general understanding of web-based technologies (XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, .NET, Mobile) and client/server architectures • Sophisticated organizational skills • Time management skills • Knowledge of vendors and procurement process • Effective facilitation and presentation skills • Have a passion for client satisfaction and project success Preferred qualifications: • PMP certification a plus • Usability experience a plus • SAP proficiency • SharePoint knowledge a plus TTY Systems, Inc.
