Job Description: Travel can be up to 80-90 % at times Requirements: Lead the setup of the corporate hardware infrastructure to support major warehouse system implementations Design network topology to support peripheral warehouse RF devices Configure and train on peripheral warehouse RF devices Lead and support software configuration and installation Lead technical calls between the vendor and various corporate IT groups; aligning requirements from both sides Define and develop comprehensive test cases and test plans Produce configuration, disaster recovery, technical checklists and other documentation Monitor and maintain production and test environments in conjunction with Corporate IT teams Technical Subject matter expert operating systems, DASD, failover/recovery, software, database and networking. Leads the requirements gap analysis and finds creative uses technical knowledge to find creative solutions Proficient with SQL 2000 and 2008 querying and development capabilities to find root causes and address data migration and configuration issues. Participate in operational implementations as well as technical implementations requiring long hours on the production floor troubleshooting, training and fixing issues. Lead data cleanse and migration activities amongst systems. Qualifications: 4+ years of experience implementing medium to large sized packaged systems Experience implementing applications using web services protocol and/or SQL Server databases Ability to quickly learn new technologies and operational processes System implementation and change management best practices Self-starter with the proven ability of accomplishing tasks in complicated environments Expert understanding of system infrastructure and server environments Hands on ability to wear many hats: technical and operational Effective written and oral communication skills"
