"Hiring a Telecom Manager in Vienna, VA Position Summary Responsible for the installation, maintenance and operation of company telecommunications equipment and networks. Collaboratively plan the development and installation of new sites and facilities to ensure all technical needs are considered and solutions are developed with multiple purposes in mind. Develop and maintain corporate standards for telecommunications purchases and management. Identify and resolve hardware and software technical problems and malfunctions that are related to the communications infrastructure. Participate in all phases of the client/customer support development life cycle. Manage all telecommunications vendor relationships. Essential Functions Plan and execute the construction, installation, maintenance and operation of telecommunications systems to support company voice and data communications requirements as well as business continuity initiatives. Manage all telecommunications vendor relationships with a special focus on delivery, cost, and standards. Develop, implement and maintain standards-based policies and procedures for installing, troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining telecommunications equipment.
