Shazia Shafi posted a job: Protege Global a USA Based organization is hiring Senior PHP Resource For System Architect Position for its Lahore and Islamabad office "Senior PHP Resource For System Architect Position (10 years of experience) Location: Islamabad and Lahore ---- Job Description: Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical people in a collaborative environment (e.g. end-users) Ability to manage multiple software development projects Must be punctual and able to meet deadlines of the specified work requirements Should have a strong capacity to work on multiple tasks assigned Must have innovative and creative approach useful for the job Self-starter with strong self-management and problem solving skills Clear understanding of software development practices and lifecycles Project and task oriented with a focus on details Ability to work well within group or individually on projects Work with various teams in the organization to ensure appropriate project requirements are met Participate in a Development team that is responsible for developing quality software Create product using a test driven design approach Ability to carry out all policies and procedures as established by the team, department or bank at large Required Skills: Extensive web application (PHP development) JavaScript & jQuery experience required. Must have command in PHP(OOP)/MYSQL, JavaScript, AJAX, XML, CSS, HTML/XHTML. Candidates having experience of WordPress, Joomla and Other Open Source development will be preferred Skill full in use of JSON/AJAX technique to create web2.0 style sites Experience in using/integrating 3rd party APIs, as well as developing own APIs to integrate with other systems Modern OO JavaScript programming skills: OOPS and MOOtools experience is plus Advanced skills in PHP and Object oriented programming Epert level skills in Joomla and Wordpress CMS Proficient with MVC based frameworks Strong understanding of web services and Third party APIs (Facebook, Google, Yahoo etc.,) Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JQuery and JavaScript (AJAX and Comet) Considerable experience working with MySQL, JSON ,Webservices Sound Knowledge of working in Linux environment Should also be comfortable with Git,SVN etc Should also have experience of working with a Web server (Nginx and Apache) Experience building scalable web apps Knowledge of database management systems Experience in leading team(s) of software engineers Create code that meets design specifications, follows standards, and is easy to maintain.
