Adrian Godding 07515 324578 has started a discussion: Employed Consultant Resource Manager "The Resource Manager will identify and support the recruitment of Employed Consultants (ECs) and then become the go-to person for all resource requirements. This will involve close liaison with the Directors and Managers and daily involvement in the scheduling and assignment of resources to bid efforts and client engagements. Role Description * Contribute to the design of recruitment process for ECs * Contribute to design of new or (extended use of) existing resource database * Contribute to design of induction process for ECs (using pre-existing induction material) * Contribute to design of Experis familiarisation/accreditation process for ECs Building the EC pool * Attract and identify potential EC hires through creative use of advertising on the Experis website and other suitable on-line sites and by using all of Experis's existing networks, contacts, job boards etc * Organise, manage logistics for and administer regular assessment centres for applicants * Organise, manage logistics for and administer the induction and accreditation processes for successful ECs * Keep database records of all applicants, rejections, assessment centre attendees and successful associates, particularly to keep track of changing availability * Ongoing communications with ECs to ensure that they feel engaged and "connected" to Experis whether working on a client engagement or not. Work with HR Support * Identify any potential staff or core EC hires, from initial applications, and pass to HR Support for inclusion in standard recruitment process * Accept details of all staff and core EC successful hires from HR Support and add details to resource database * Maintain up-to-date records for all Experis resources - staff, ECs - for scheduling purposes Responding to Internal Resource Requests * Attend the weekly team meetings where all resource requirements are discussed * Provide up-to-date information on all Experis resources, particularly availability * Contact ECs not on assignment after the scheduling meeting to describe opportunities, at a high level, before handing over communications to consultant * Follow up on any resource requirements that cannot be satisfied by known candidates or ECs by initiating an immediate, ad hoc, specific associate search * Where immediate deployment is required, ensure that any risk is mitigated through a "light touch" immediate induction process with planned full induction subsequently Required Experience General * Familiarity with professional services (preferably contracting) environment * Understanding of an internal scheduling function is an advantage * Familiarity with management consulting or system integration operations is an advantage * An understanding of basic project and programme management is an advantage * An understanding of on-line job boards and effective recruitment strategies * Good commercial sense and an understanding of the basic dynamics of day rates, margins, mark ups, VAT * Event organisation/management skills a distinct advantage (for assessment centres, induction and accreditation events) * Self-starter, able to manage a changing workload * Ability to work under pressure and able to calmly prioritise conflicting demands * Professional telephone manner and able to handle commercial discussions with senior, experienced consultants * Good communication skills, aware of the importance of updating interested parties efficiently and effectively * Attention to detail and able to manage data accurately Apply here: http://www.aplitrak.com/?adid=YWRyaWFuZ29kZGluZy45MTI0Ni4zMzcwQGV4cGVyaXN1ay5hcGxpdHJhay5jb20" | ||||||
