naveen katukam has started a discussion: Urgent - Qlikview openings at NJ..................please send resumes to naveen@siyaton.com "Hi Title: QlikView Developer x3 (Lead developer, mid developer and remote developer (Senior)) Location: Jersey City, NJ Length: 6 months Interview process: 2 phone interviews and potential face to face may be needed Reason position is open: Client is looking for onsite developers in NYC office for net new development on BI reports using Qlikview, which supports 300+ Fixed Income, Equities, Risk Managers traders and management. Some example reports include firm wide PnL, trial balance, reference data and more and need to be able to refresh in a timely manner. Job description: BI team will conduct requirements gathering hand in hand with a BA's from the business. Development will be conducted in agile fashion, with no dedicated testing team. Timing of development cycle lasts several weeks, working directly with a BA from the business. Qlikview developers will work from dashboard, repots, to Database modeling (Oracle 11g) and creation of any required BI tables. * Perform detailed analysis of source systems and source system data and model that data in QlikView * Design, develop, and test QlikView scripts to import data from source systems and test QlikView dashboards to meet customer requirements * Experience in end-to-end implementation of Business Intelligence (BI) projects, especially in scorecards, KPIs, reports & dashboards * Interpret written business requirements and technical specification documents * Create and maintain technical design documentation * Design, create and tune physical database objects (tables, views, indexes) to support logical and dimensional models; Maintain the referential integrity of the database * Provide input on proposing, evaluating and selecting appropriate design alternatives which meet client requirements and are consistent with client's current standards and processes.
