The Senior Architect Engineer is responsible for: ·Act as an interface between the client and Financial business user team of the their customer in order to assist in the correct “interpretation” of the actual business user issue or requirement into an IT type of requirement. ·To become the interface between IT Team and Financial Team of the customer; Provision of someone who has strong Telecom Financial knowledge both from a functional financial skills level as well as a reporting skills level; ·To provide Oracle ERP (mainly General Ledger – GL codes and accounting knowledge) as well as Oracle Accounts Receivable and General Financial Reporting knowledge) who can assist with understanding and identifying and resolving issues on the transactional requirements from the interfacing source systems into the Oracle ERP systems of the customer; ·To provide a sense of order and priority and resolution on the current support issues that are evident on the system, as well as to assist the customer´s business users to understand and resolve the ‘type’ of issues that are being experienced on the system i.e. issues may not always be system related, but more process related or lack of training is the reason. ·To provide a resource who can build up strong relationships with the customer´s Business users and who can assist with the skills gap that may exist, perform workshops in order to provide clarity to the users on their issues , as well as to provide ‘hands on’ experience in problem resolution. Ensure that all acquisition dependencies provided by Cornerstone are identified, agreed at the earliest time and accurately tracked to ensure that they don’t get onto the critical path. This will require tight management and reporting for the area’s. Identify any acquisition issues that could affect the delivery targets and suggest solutions to mitigate the issues. Work closely with the Site Design team to ensure that the suggested site designs minimise any acquisition work including all planning requirements. Ensure that the acquisition activities are aligned to the overall company Cluster/Ref Cluster deployment process and individual site acquisition issue do not get on the critical path for the overall clusters. Ensure that CEG have an appropriate SOW for acquisition activities that allows correct pricing. Support CEG with expert advice in any disputes with the Partners on acquisition related matters. Manage the acquisition costs v the budget and keep a running forecast of end of project costs. Provide suitable management reports to ensure that acquisition issues are understood by the wider team.
